Unit 1 Projects
This was the first piece I made in this class. Consequently, I didn't plan much for it, but I think it turned out well. I wanted to create an animated and exaggerated expression. I specifically chose to only glaze the eyes and the teeth because I wanted the contrast between shiny and matte to be very apparent.
This stamp was a simple project, but I'm pleased with the results. I think if I could do it again I would make the letters thinner so they are cleaner as a stamp.
These painted coins are one of my favorite things that I've made so far. I'm very happy with the detail I was able to get with the underglaze and how vibrant the color came out. I plan to glue a pin backing onto them at home so I can put them on my backpack.
